As far as I know perhaps all of the elongate producing machines
in the British Isles are those made by EurolinkGB (located in Linlithgow,
Scotland ). This company also has a sister company in the United States,
this is called Eurolink Design Corporation located in California). Some
of my elongates of the British Isles have on them the "e" trademark of
Eurolink. (Image file of this mark is available - printout will be included).
This trademark appears instead of one of the beads in the border near to
the "start bar" on the piece. The Eurolink machines in the U.S. all have
the "e" included in the designs they use. Many other initials/marks can
be found on U.S. pieces e.g. pieces with "FB" on them are from the late
Frank Brazzell, he produced over 8,000 designs during his career and also
built the elongate machines. Perhaps there could be designs with "FB" for
somewhere other than the United States. Other letters found on elongates
(generally) are usually either designers initials or makers trademarks.
